2014! Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! This greeting is a little late but only because it has been a busy start to 2014!  First, we would like to thank all of you again for your love and support during the last six months.  The last six months has been a difficult journey for us but we are so thankful to all of you for your patience and understanding.Crooked Vines Picture

We have started the New Year with a bang!  We added Crooked Vine and Stony Ridge Winery to our list of retailers.  Crooked Vine and Stony Ridge Winery is located at 4948 Tesla Road in Livermore, California.  For those of you that do not live in San Francisco Bay Area, Livermore Valley has become the “mini” Napa Valley and offers some of the best wine in the Bay Area.  We are thrilled that our Jams and Jellies are now available at the Crooked Vine and Stony Ridge Winery.   Stop in and try some of their great wines and enjoy their beautiful grounds.  It is a great place to relax and enjoy the Livermore wine country.

We have been busy in the kitchen making our winter jellies.  If you have not tried our wonderful Blood Orange Jelly or our Meyer Lemon Jelly you must before their limited season ends.  We love the beautiful color of the Blood Orange along with the sweet wonderful flavor.  Our Meyer Lemon is the best!  We have people ordering this Jelly from all over the country.  It is the perfect blend of tartness from the lemon and sweetness from the tangerine.  The aroma from these lemons is delightful.  Try using a little as a glaze for shrimp or adding a teaspoon to your afternoon tea.  Only one word we can to describe this Jelly and that is WONDERFUL!

Meyer Lemon PictureWe have some exciting new things in store for 2014.  We will be making some changes to our labeling and packaging and we are going to be offering some new products very soon!  We hate to tease you but we promise you will get the announcements soon.  It is going to be an exciting year!

The Farmer’s Market in Brentwood opens March 15th so we hope to see you there! One of our farmers told us they were expecting the first of the strawberries to be ready in three weeks.  We have had such a mild winter that we are not surprised to see the strawberries coming in so soon.

We will keep you posted on all the changes and exciting new things that are going to make 2014 a great year!  You can “Like” us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter.

Cheers to a great New Year!!
