Time Flies When You Are Having Fun!

Well 2013 started off with a bang and we have not slowed down since!  So far it has been a year full of excitement, growth and a lot of fun.  Since we launched the new website in January we have been on a roll and a fast pace roll at that.   We apologize, we intended to update our beautiful new website more often than we have.  We promise to do a better job at providing you updates on new products, adding new recipes, and sharing information about our business partners.  Here’s a little update on what has been going on:

  • Julie had foot surgery in January and that wasn’t any fun…
  • We had a feature article written about us in 110 Magazine.  Here is the link: http://www.myvirtualpaper.com/doc/110mag-online/may2013-110mag/2013042401/#58  so check it out.  Doing this Article was so much fun!  Thank you 110 Magazine!
  • We added Brentwood Fine Meats to our list of wonderful stores that are now selling our Jams.
  • We also are selling our Jams at the Farmer’s Daughter fruit stand.  We are really excited to be working with Meredith Nunn (the farmer’s daughter).  We have some fun things we are working on with Meredith so we will keep you posted as they develop.
  • We are now using a commercial kitchen here in Brentwood so we would like to thank Ralph at Ralph’s Catering for sharing his wonderful kitchen with us.
  • We are excited that all the summer fruit it out in abundance and we are making some new flavors like Boysenberry and Pluot Jams.  Be sure to try them, they really are yummy.
  • Our Chicklet Jessica graduated from Brentwood’s Liberty High School.  Congratulations Jessica! We are so proud of you!
  • We will be having a booth at the new Farmers’s Market in Discovery Bay (located at the Marina) starting July 7th.
  • We have made Jams for wedding favors, shower favors and as business promotion and giveaways.  We are excited that “favor” jams are getting lots of exposure and really taking off as a new product.  Minda is our label guru and she can make and design a label for any occasion.  Keep us in mind for your next event!
  • We have already started taking orders for Christmas.  Remember, if there a flavor of Jam that you would like to have for Christmas presents or baskets let us know as soon as you can so we can make sure we have enough fruit on hand to fill the orders.
  • We have been shipping Jam all over the country and we love having visitors to our website from all over the world.

As you can see the first half of 2013 has been very busy.  We are really excited about some new things we are working on and promise that the next six months will be just as crazy and fun as the first six have been.  New recipes will be added soon to the website, we promise!  Thanks to all of you, near and far, that are loving our jams as much as we do. Many thanks go out to our business partners at Willy’s Bagels and Blends, Gursky Ranch, Berry Best, The Vintage House, Sunflower Antiques, Brentwood Fine Meats and Farmer’s Daughter for your continued support and patience (we are making the jams as fast as we can).

Enjoy!  Remember it’s not just Jam anymore!!
